A suspected armed man is said to have been seen in an area in Krokslätt during Saturday evening. Police were called to the scene and arrested a man in his 20s. In connection with the arrest, the police fired a warning shot. However, no one should have been injured.
The incident is said to have taken place at 20:00 on Saturday evening. According to information to GP, there must have been several police cars in the area.
“A witness allegedly have seen a man with a gun-like object”, says Sebastian Börjesson, officer on duty at the police.
In connection with the arrest, the police should have fired a warning shot, but no one should have been injured.
A house search will be carried out on the person who is in his 20s and the police are in the area during the evening with dog patrol.
It has not yet been determined if it is a sharp weapon.
“I was on my way home from a walk and then I just hear a bang and then see a number of police cars”, says a resident in the area to GP.
On Sunday, the police wrote on their website that the man has been arrested and is suspected of serious weapons offences.
