A large police operation is underway during the night of Wednesday in Bagarmossen after a shooting.
A man was found seriously injured outside.
At 23.23 on Tuesday, the police were alerted to suspicious shooting in the area in southern Stockholm.
We receive that several shots were fired. When we arrive four minutes later, we find a badly injured young man outside, says Daniel Wikdahl, press spokesperson at Police Region Stockholm.
When the police got there, members of the public had started to give first aid. Soon after, paramedics take over and take the person to hospital.
At 02:40, there was still no one arrested, according to the police.
This is how the police work now
The area is cordoned off, including at an underpass, and the police have several resources on site.
We have worked in the area. There are several witnesses and we are working on getting more, says Daniel Wikdahl.
The police have also used dog patrols and helicopters in the work.

The police do not go out with any criminal classification in the case, nor comment why.
Two hours later, the police are called to Åkersberga north of Stockholm, also there to a shooting.
The police see no connection between the shootings at this time.
Second shooting in a short time in the area
This is the second shooting in the area in a short time. On Sunday, the police were alerted after several explosions were heard in the area and people were seen running from the scene.
